The Family

Mariah’s father, Marcellus Devereaux, runs a Top secret agency, providing her and her brother, Myles, with a lifetime of work. He also takes in wayward souls, men without love or a family, giving them a second chance and making them useful in his business.

They all treat mariah like a sister, but living in a house full of men isn’t easy. She’s isolated and out of the loop most of the time, leaving her with an overwhelming sense of loneliness despite living in a beautiful mansion with everything she could ever need.
